uk62vette is someone that is fun to party with and drink champagne with.
bought my dream car

Hi guys i see there has been a few people from the UK posting on here well now you have a new one
have always owned american cars since passing my driving test 28 years ago
and never was brand specific fords(mustangs) mopars(barracudas) chevys(camaros+nova)with a few classic english cars aswell anglias/escorts/corsairs
had the nova the longest and she was a street/strip car 355 rollercam AFR 195 heads victor jnr 750 vac/sec hooker fenderwells msd ignition turbo 350
12 bolt 3.90 gears caltrac bars. got a best of 12.01/113 1.74 60ft out of her
on 235/60/15 mt drag radials and was in the process of fitting a nos cheater plate kit when my dream car came up for sale for reasonable money(for over here)a 1962 vette it had some front end damage which has been mostly repaired a meyer front IFS+dana 36 IRS a new ramjet 350 crate motor turbo 350 new 8x17 torque thurst wheels and about $4000 of new parts
i paid $22000 which i think is good considering how rarely C1 projects come up for sale over here i fitted the ramjet motor to the nova and sold it on
and have started buying parts for the 62 being a modified car suits me down to the ground as i prefer timeslips over trophys the dana 36 IRS is being replaced with a 9" on a 4 link setup the 355 is due a freshen up and the 350 may get swapped for a 400
will keep you updated on the rebuild
paul

Hi Paul again. Nice Deuce, even nicer 62. Good luck with it and if you have any questions on building it, just ask. Good choice dumping the weak Dana 36 and going with the Strange 9"and 4 link.

Last week Paul contacted me with some questions about Code's car dealing with rear suspension, mini tubs and tire sizes. He asked if the NJO had a web site, as we do not, I suggested he come over here for any thing he wants to know.

Just make sure that he doesn't get any advice from Topless62.

Step in it some more Pete. Paul's car is an automatic. Maybe he will change. (PS. The last comments by poor Pete are a burn on Trophy Blue, whose car is the only stock auto in the club.)
